Designer Terrazzo
If you are an Architect, a designer, a landscaper, a builder, an artist, or someone with an idea or concept that you want to see created in the solid, smooth, medium of terrazzo, talk to us We create unique, bespoke, terrazzo. Statement pieces. Each piece has its own unique look and identity.
Although the history of terrazzo can be linked to the ancient mosaics of Egypt, its present form has its roots in Venice, Italy, Terrazzo (Italian for terrace) in the 15th Century. Workers used scraps of marble left over from jobs, and mixed it with clay, to create flooring in their own homes. In ruins in Turkey, archaeologists have discovered evidence of terrazzo like floors that date back to 8,000 to 10,000 years ago. Sustainability is important to us.
